Today was acceptable.

Hokkaidoed (verb) with Kwong.  Delectable, but time for a break from my favorite Chinese (because let's be honest, it's nothing like Japanese food) restaurant.

That's it.  Bye.

Hello.

Recently viewed the new Will Ferrell movie, Talladega Nights.  Basically, if you're illiterate, from the Deep South, and grew up on a steady diet of Nascar and words no greater than two syllables, you will enjoy this movie.  The plot was inane, jokes were lame, and it was an overall consummate waste of 8 dollars.  It was by the same inbreds who did Anchorman, so my low expectations were realized.  Avoid like the plague.

Recently moved into the dorm after a week or so of squatting.  I'm techinically not suppose to move in until the 16th, so I've had to remain clandestine.

Went with Kwong to Charlotte the other weekend, enjoyable voyage.  Viewed the new Woody Allen movie, Scoop.  It was marginal - the only other work I've seen by Allen is Match Point , which was bascially akin to coma-inducing Pride and Prejudice until the plot gets interesting and the protagonist kills his mistress (if you haven't seen it, I basically just ruined the movie for you).  I think Match Point was superior to Scoop - although one can vindicate seeing both by the fact you are afforded the opportunity to stare at Scarlett Johansson for two hours.  We also had some Vietnamese food for lunch.  Pho is a delicious soup with noodles and beef slices and tendons (from what, I have no idea).  There were Asians all over the place, and I was the lone caucasian - I think they tried to intimate me by staring at me.  However, when I stood up from my table, showcasing my lengthy and dominating 5'6 frame, they recognized the Alpha male in the room.  They then bowed and accepted me as their vassel, and we pillaged a few local villages to kill some time.  We also visited the most derelict and dilapidated mall I've ever seen.  Basically every store was closed, except one Asian video/comic book store which looked like it hadn't sold a product in years.  Even the huge fountain was completely dry with what looked like weeds and despair growing in it.  The mall was connected to an Asian Market, which was acceptable.  I almost bought a 50-pound bag of Nishiki Rice, but decided against it, instead opting for various Asian candies.
